What is recorded here
A curving arc of ditch (L 68m SE-NE), two slot-trenches and a number of pits and postholes were excavated here in 2003, prior to the construction of the dual carriageway from the R671 to Greystones (Excavation Licence 03E1550 (Site J)). One of the slot-trenches contained a barbed and tanged arrow head and prehistoric pottery, one of the pits contained a fragment of prehistoric pottery. (Molloy 2006, 547)
