Guthrie Castle, Pond and Dam stands in Angus, Scotland, a water-shaped ruin where a castle once drank rain and held it against the hill. The dam still bites the land, forcing the pond to keep what the castle lost. Perhaps people walked that water edge at dusk, listening for the castle to answer through the surface.
