This grey commemorative plaque records: Philip, Lord Inman Of Knaresborough 1892 - 1979. On this site was born Lord Inman of Knaresborough. A man who, from humble beginnings rose to be Chairman of Charing Cross Hospital, Chairman of the B. B. C., and Lord Privy Seal, whilst maintaining a life-long affection for the town of his birth.
