What is recorded here
Kilcross still hides a graveyard nobody can locate, though it is certain the dead were buried there. The absence is not empty; it is a shape waiting to be remembered. Perhaps the field changed ownership, the boundary stones were removed, or the living stopped visiting and the place dissolved into grass. In that disappearance is the whole story: love, fear, and time can erase even the marks we make to resist forgetting.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as GRAVEYARD (unlocated). Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
