GRAVEYARD: KILADERA in Agheeghter

GRAVEYARD: KILADERA

What is recorded here

Kiladera is a graveyard in Agheeghter, County Fermanagh, where the dead have been laid since before anyone is certain when. The name itself is a claim of continuity: kil, church; adera, given or graceful. That much is plain. What is lost is the voice that first spoke it, the family that tended it, the reason it became worth remembering. A graveyard does not need a date to be real. It needs only to be full.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as GRAVEYARD: KILADERA. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
