Graveyard in Fethard is a graveyard beside an Augustinian abbey outside the walled town, with late medieval graveslabs scattered along the north side and even inside the ruinous transept. The stones mark a place where faith, death and memory were kept together, while the abbey stood as a visible anchor for the town. What is missing is not importance but breath: the sound of footsteps, the smell of rain on stone, and the chance that someone still lives beside it.

Associated with the Augustinian abbey (TS070-040004-) which is outside and E of the walled town of Fethard (TS070-040----). It is located along the N side of the abbey church, including burials within the ruinous N transept. It is indicated on the 25-inch OS 6-inch map as 'Grave Yd.'.
