What is recorded here

Farran Graveyard has kept the dead of Castleisland for generations, though the names and dates have slipped from public memory. It is not a place of display but of continuity, where ordinary lives ended and were returned to Kerry soil. The absence of a clear record does not reduce the graveyard; it removes the chance to perform understanding. What is known is that it exists, that it is used for death, and that it belongs to the town rather than to a museum.
