What is recorded here
Graveslab in Sheastown stands upright in the chancel of Kilferagh church, just inside the northern doorway. The tapering slab carries the lower terminal of a floriated cross, marking a forgotten coffin-shaped monument from the 13th or 14th century. It still points toward the person it buried, even though no name remains beside the stone.
