Graveslab in Rathduff (madden) is a thick split slab from Kells Priory for Augustinian canons, later reused as a tower-house lintel. It still carries two parallel incised lines forming a cross-shaft, marking death before it marked entry. The priory gave up more than forty such slabs, yet this one survived only because someone needed a door to keep shut.

One of a large number of graveslabs (KK027-029005-; KK027-029015-, KK027-029016-, KK027-029021- to KK027-029051-) found at Kells Priory for Augustinian canons (KK027-029004-) which have been described and catalogued by Higgins (2007, 453-67). A graveslab (dimensions not obtainable), reused as a lintel in a tower house. It is decorated with two parallel incised lines of a cross-shaft. The slab is thick but has split.
