Graveslab stands in Loughrea, County Galway, marked only as a graveslab despite the absence of public detail. The omission does not diminish the place; it withholds recognition from a stone that may have guided grief, ownership or memory across generations. Someone laid it down, aligned it to a body or boundary, and left it exposed to rain. That much still belongs to the living, even when the name and date have drifted away.
