Graveslab in Gardens (kilkenny City By., St. Mary’s Par.) stands as a 13th/14th-century fragment reused in the west entrance pier at St Mary's parish church. Its fossiliferous limestone bears an incised cross-head with fleur-de-lis termini, though carved slots for iron brackets now truncate the design. The slab moves from burial marker to gateway support, suggesting human hands valued its shape enough to carry it into a new purpose.

Fragment of a 13th/14th-century graveslab (L 0. 74m; Wth 0.45m; T 0.17), made from fossiliferous limestone, decorated with an incised cross-head with fleur-de-lis termini. Slots carved for two iron brackets truncate the cross-head. Reused in the W entrance pier main entrance gateway to the churchyard. Currently stored in St. Mary’s church graveyard (KK019-026156-).
