Graveslab in Gardens (kilkenny City By., St. Mary’s Par.) is a 13th/14th-century uninscribed fragment reused at the top of the NE nave wall of St Mary's parish church in Kilkenny. Its fossiliferous limestone still shows a circle, perhaps the remains of a cross-head, though the stone was cut into a rectangular building block. The dead marker became a living wall, carrying forgotten shape into ordinary sight.

Reused at the top of the external face of the NE wall of the nave of St. Mary’ Church. A circle is inscribed on the stone, perhaps the remains of a cross-head.
