Graveslab in Gardens (kilkenny City By., St. Mary’s Par.) is a 13th/14th-century graveslab reused in the E wall of the S transept at St Mary's parish church in Kilkenny. Its fossiliferous limestone still carries an incised fleur-de-lis cross terminal, marking death and devotion before it became building stone. The 2015 excavations brought that hidden layer back into view, suggesting the church has long absorbed and redirected what people placed beneath it.
