Graveslab in Fethard is a graveslab in Fethard, County Tipperary, Ireland. The surviving lower portion measures 0.79m in length, tapers from 0.47m at the top to 0.41m at the base, and is 0.05m thick including a 0.025m under-cut chamfer. It lies in the northeast angle of the former medieval parish church of St John the Baptist, now the organ room of Holy Trinity Church of Ireland, with the Hackett/Roket graveslab immediately to the west. The dexter edge is somewhat chipped, and the slab carries an incised cross-shaft with a stepped base, a quartered lozenge on the middle of the cross-stem, and an illegible Lombardic inscription along the base and sinister side.

Lying in the NE angle of the former nave of the medieval parish church of St John the Baptist (TS070-040001-), currently the organ room of Holy Trinity C of I church. The Hackett/Roket graveslab (TS070-040080-) lies immediately to the W. The lower portion of a tapering limestone slab (L 0.79m; Wth at top 0.47m; Wth at base 0.41m; T 0.05m including an under-cut chamfer Wth 0.025m) which is somewhat chipped along the dexter edge. It is decorated with an incised cross-shaft with a stepped base. According to Maher (1997, 59-60) 'an incised lozenge, which is quartered, occurs on the middle of the cross-stem. It is, perhaps, contemporary. An inscription in Lombardic lettering occurs along the base and sinister side. It is illegible'. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 19 January 2012
