Overview
Graves — Fortane Beg, Clare, appears as ‘Graves’ on the 1840 maps. It is a roughly rectangular children's burial ground measuring 10m north to south; 14m east to west. It stands on a south-east-facing slope, in an area of native woodland surrounded by pasture, except to north-west where there are other small pockets of woodland.
