Grave Yd stood on a low cliff above the Clonakilty estuary, holding a ruined church and probably marking an early ecclesiastical place. Cork County Council removed it completely during road widening. The dead lost their witness, the cliff lost its memory, and the road gained a little more room.

On top of a low cliff on N shore of Clonakilty estuary. The site appears to have been completely removed by Cork County Council during road widening. The graveyard contained a ruined church (CO135-053002-). Probably an early ecclesiastical site. (Hurley 1980, 60).
