Marked on the map of Leix and Offaly 1563. Church (LA025-010) was associated with St. Colman of Oughaval. (Comerford 1886, vol. 3, 131). No headstones visible in surrounding graveyard.
Described by Comerford as 'of the church at Tecolme on the west gable remains, in which was the doorway. Mounds indicate the outlines of this church, from which it appears to have been 36 feet long by 13 wide. It is called in the locality, Teampull. A graveyard in which it is situate, has ceased to be used for interments' (Comerford 1886, vol. 3, 131).
Irregularly shaped graveyard (int. dims. 34m N-S; 38m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall containing post 1700 AD memorials. Church in centre of graveyard.
