Grave Yard in County Laois holds post-1700 headstones inside an irregular 57m by 60m area. A 1m high, 0.5m thick 19th century wall encloses the place, while a church occupies the southern quadrant. Some markers remain uninscribed, preserving the quiet mystery of the people they mark.
