Grave Yard slopes beside a Galway road toward Ballinakill Lough, keeping a medieval church at its north edge and newer burials at its south end. Rough stones, a small HT cross and a PC slab mark the older part, while two lesser crosses left for a Dublin museum. The place still holds the oddity of names reduced to letters and memory stretched across centuries.

In an area of rough pastureland, immediately to the S of a road. This roughly rectangular graveyard (c. 83m E-W; c. 75m N-S) slopes from N to S and overlooks Ballinakill Lough to the S. A medieval church (GA022-012----) lies in its N sector. Modern burials occupy its S end. Nearer the church the burials are marked by rough uninscribed rectangular grave-markers. One roughly hewn cross (L 0.5m) is inscribed with the letters HT and bears a cross on its head. A recumbent slab (L 1.6m; Wth 0.5m) is also inscribed with a cross and the letters PC. An early cross-slab (GA022-012002-) and a cross-inscribed pillar (GA022-012003-) are also visible. Two small crosses (GA022-012004- and GA022-012005-) formerly located here are now in the National Museum of Ireland, Dublin (information from Dr J. Higgins, 14 May 2018).
