Grave Yard in Grange, County Galway, is a small oval burial ground surrounding a ruined church, marked by one inscribed slab for a child who died at two while most other graves remain unmarked or roughly placed. That single named stone gives the modest drystone enclosure a sudden human edge, inviting wonder about whose hands set the others and when. The mix of haphazard and aligned graves suggests centuries of interrupted use, with each community leaving its own quiet pattern in the western Irish earth.

Close to foot of a steep, W-facing hill-slope. Known locally as Reilig Sheanadh Mhaoilín, and indicated on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as an enclosed D-shaped area (c. 30m by c. 25m).
