This blue commemorative plaque records: This plaque commemorates the fateful voyage of the paddle steamer Forfarshire from Hull to Dundee on 5th September 1838. P. S. Forfarshire and Grace Darling 1838 Grace Darling saved many lives by her heroic efforts when the ship foundered on the Farne Islands Recorded plaque organisation: Hull City Council.
