Governor Fenner

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Governor Fenner as Wreck from the Ôl-ganoloesol period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Governor Fenner was a 19th-century steamship that wrecked off the coast of Wales during a storm in 1879. The vessel was carrying general cargo and although the crew was rescued, the ship was lost; its wreck is now a protected site under Welsh heritage laws.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
