What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Glenford (UKHO 7066) as Wreck. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The Glenford was a British steamship that sank in 1917 during World War I after striking a mine in the Irish Sea. The vessel was en route from Liverpool to Dublin when it was lost, resulting in the deaths of all 23 crew members; its wreck is now a protected site under Welsh heritage laws.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
