Glenfeadon

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Glenfeadon as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The Glenfeadon was a British steamship that sank in 1917 during World War I after striking a mine off the coast of Anglesey, Wales. The vessel was carrying a cargo of coal, and while no crew members were lost due to timely rescue efforts, the wreck is significant as a wartime casualty and is recorded in the National Monuments Record of Wales.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
