Glenbeg House

Farmyard complex, extant 1841, including (north): Detached seven-bay single-storey coach house-cum-stable outbuilding on a rectangular plan. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with corrugated-iron finish (north), roll moulded terracotta ridge tiles, paired central chimney stacks having shallow capping, coping to gable (west) with crow stepped coping to gable (east), and cast-iron rainwater goods retaining cast-iron downpipes. Part repointed walls with flush quoins to corners. Segmental-headed central carriageway with margined tooled cut-limestone block-and-start surround centred on keystone framing corrugated-iron door. Square-headed flanking door openings with margined tooled cut-limestone block-and-start surrounds centred on keystones framing remains of timber doors having overlights. Square-headed window openings (half-attic) with cut-limestone shallow sills, and margined tooled cut-limestone block-and-start surrounds framing remains of louvered timber fittings. Set in grounds shared with Glenbeg House.
