Castlebank Laundry occupied 200 Anniesland Road through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, twisting water and cloth into cleanliness for Glasgow. Before becoming a laundry, the same site worked as dye works, staining hands and rivers with colour. The building may have smelled of soap, heat and old ink, its floors slick under boots. It remains a private address, not an invitation, yet the water still carries the memory of every garment it changed.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Glasgow, 200 Anniesland Road, Castlebank Laundry as Dye Works (period Unassigned), Laundry (19th Century) - (20th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
