What is recorded here

Glasgow's Palace Theatre at 127 Gorbals Street showed films and staged plays through the twentieth century. Its exact position still stands on the city map, but the building may have vanished, changed hands or closed its doors. Whatever it became, it gave working people a dark room where light could move them.
