Glasgow, Castlemilk, Big Wood holds a possible cairn, an unassigned heap of stones that may mark nothing at all or may preserve a life so old it predates human memory. The wood has swallowed every clue about when the stones first gathered, leaving behind a quiet puzzle instead of a fact. Perhaps someone dumped rubble there, perhaps someone buried a dead person, or perhaps the land simply moved rock into a shape that looks like intention.
