Ardencraig Road is a modern housing estate in Castlemilk, Glasgow. It is a place where people live, not a ruin to photograph or a monument to admire. The road may have been built for working families who wanted near the centre but away from the oldest crowded streets. They may have wanted gardens, light and a little more room without leaving the city they knew.
