What is recorded here

Castlebank Street Bridge carried trains across Glasgow during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, its iron ribs bending under the weight of coal and passengers. The structure still stands as a railway bridge, though the official point sits within a hundred metres of the exact span. That distance leaves room for the true shape to emerge, perhaps a taller arch or a wider deck than the number suggests.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Glasgow, Castlebank Street Bridge as Railway Bridge (19th Century) - (20th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
