George Gilbert Scott, Holy Trinity Church, Coventry, and Richard Charles Hussey black plaque

This black commemorative plaque records: Holy Trinity Church. Constructed during the 13th and 15th Centuries on the site of a Norman building as the parish church for the priors half of Coventry. The spire, height 237 feet (72 metres) was rebuilt in 1667 after the original was blown down. Extensive restoration and a new west front were completed in 1849 by R. C. Hussey. The interior was restored in 1855 by Gilbert Scott.
