This blue commemorative plaque records: Hepper House. Was built in 1863 as auction rooms and offices for John Hepper and Sons, the premier auctioneers and estate agents in 19th and 20th Century Leeds. George Corson was a notable Victorian architect known for his eclectic style; John Hepper was the founder of one of Leeds's leading auctioneering and estate agency firms in the 19th and 20th centuries.
