Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Gelsina: North Sea as Requisitioned Trawler (20th Century)-(1917), Steam Trawler (20th Century)-(1917). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The *Gelsina* was a steam trawler requisitioned by the Royal Navy in 1917 for service during World War I. It was lost in the North Sea in 1917, likely due to enemy action or mine strike, with no survivors reported; its loss contributed to the wartime effort of converting fishing vessels for naval use.
