Gateway, c.1825, comprising segmental-headed carriageway with tooled limestone ashlar piers, rendered voussoirs, tongue-and-groove timber panelled double doors having wicket gate, and cut-stone coping to parapet. Road fronted.
An attractive gateway forming an appealing, if subtle feature in the streetscape exhibiting high quality stone masonry while retaining early fittings to the opening.
