This blue commemorative plaque records: Town Hall. First opened in 1680, burnt down circa 1750, rebuilt in 1755 and 1939; however, most of the exterior is the origianl Georgian stonework. The clock tower was added in 1847 by public subscription.
Garstang Town Hall, first opened in 1680, has served as a civic center through multiple reconstructions, showcasing its enduring importance to community governance and local identity.
