One low stone stands on the lower SE slopes of Knocknaskereighta, no taller than a knee, its top broken clean away. It is not grand, not even visibly old in the way myths prefer, yet it has watched rain, footpaths and forgetting for longer than memory can hold. Perhaps it marked a boundary, a burial or a promise no one remembers breaking.

This low squat stone stands on the lower SE slopes of Knocknaskereighta. It reaches a maximum height of 1.1m, and has average basal dimensions of 1m x .2m; E-W.
