What is recorded here

Gallan is a subrectangular standing stone in a Cork pasture, measuring 0.9m high and 1.6m long. It leans slightly on a southwest-facing slope, its long axis pointing west-northwest to east-southeast. The stone has watched sheep graze and storms pass for centuries, perhaps marking a boundary or a forgotten ritual. Its simplicity belies age; even without carvings or records, it holds the shape of human attention.
