What is recorded here

Gallan is an irregular standing stone in West Cork, leaning slightly across a grassy slope where cattle still walk. It has watched the changing light for centuries, steady as a forgotten promise. People may have gathered there to mark season, loss or love, though no name remains. The stone does not need belief to be true; it only needs to be seen.
