What is recorded here

Gallán is a 2.6m standing stone in County Cork pasture, leaning east with a NE-SW axis. It has watched grass grow and storms pass for centuries. People may have gathered there to mark season, loss, or love. The stone still holds that shape without asking to be believed.

In level pasture. Stone (H 2.6m; 1.6m x 0.4m) is irregular in plan, leaning heavily to E. Long axis NE-SW.
