'Gaer Fawr' - fort to the north of Buarth y Gaer is a castle, fort or tower in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. Perhaps soldiers marched past its stones while ordinary people watched from a distance. Maybe the fort protected a busy road or marked a boundary between neighbours. Imagine the clang of tools and the smell of bread drifting through the gates.
