In marshy ground. Overgrown mound of burnt material (L c. 10m; Wth c. 7m; H 0.9m); small, raised, roughly square area (H 0.5m) on N side of mound. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
