In marshy ground. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L 18.2m; Wth 14.4m; H 1.15m); opening (Wth 6.75m) faces E; small low mound of burnt material at mouth of opening. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
