Fulacht fia in Spital (orrery and Kilmore By.)

In wet marshy ground, on W edge of flood plain of stream and c. 250m N of Lough Eagle. Discovered during land reclamation. Almost levelled mound of burnt material (15m N-S; 10m E-W; H 0.2m). Second fulacht fiadh (15277) c. 110m to SSE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
