No visible chamber or rock tray survives, only a low ridge of burnt rubble beside a wet drain. That missing tray may have been stone, wood or living flesh, and the ridge may mark the last visible part of a place that turned water into steam for food, cloth or ritual.

In wet pasture, at the base of a steep S-facing slope. A low mound (10m E-W; c. 6m N-S; H c. 0.7m) of burnt material. A drain containing water lies immediately to the N. This may be the fulacht fia, in Rossanean townland, included in an appendix of fulachtaí fia by M. J. O'Kelly (1954, 151).
