Mashanaglass holds a forgotten fulacht fia, buried beneath waste ground and marked only by a mound of burnt material. The site sits six metres from a well, waiting for someone to measure what time has smeared. It may have been a kitchen, a ritual basin, or a temporary camp where heat and water did work the body could not. The stones remember temperature even when they have lost their shape.
