In low-lying damp partly rush-covered pasture overlooked by slightly higher ground on all sides except N. A modern trackway runs 3m to the W and there is some water-logging immediately to the S and SE. A low (H 0.7-0.9m) grass-covered horseshoe-shaped mound (dims. 12m NE-SW; 8m NW-SE) contains a lower area (dims. 4.5m E-W; 3m N-S; av. D 0.4m) which is open towards the E. A tree grows on the edge of the mound at SW.
