Garranes fulacht fia is a burnt-stone cooking mound on a south-facing slope above the Glantrasna valley in County Kerry. People may have heated stones, dropped them into water, and cooked food or cleaned hides beside the grass-covered ridge. Floods have since scattered some of the burnt stones south of the mound, while a stream has cut into its west edge. The site remains a small, weathered trace of domestic labour in open hill pasture.

In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Glantrasna River. An irregular grass-covered mound (9m N-S; 6.5m E-W; H 1.3m) of burnt material eroded by a stream at W. The mound material is exposed at SW and to the S of the mound there is a spread of burnt stones which has been deposited by floods. A cairn (KE109-001008-) lies c. 60m to the NE.
