Fulacht fia in Deelis (glanarought By., Glanmore Ed)

In rough pasture, on a gentle N-facing slope, on the NW bank of a tributary of the Drimminboy River. A roughly oval grass-covered mound (7m NE-SW; 2.3m NW-SE; H 0.2m) of burnt material. The SE half of the mound is gradually being eroded by the river, exposing a layer (D 0.75m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil in the face of the river bank. The depth of the layer decreases towards the ends of the mound at NE and SW. Some burnt stones are visible on the river-bed. A fulacht fia (KE111-018005-) lies c. 30m to the SE.
