Fulacht fia in Carrignafeela (trughanacmy By., O'brennan Par.)

'Three fulachtai fiadh are situated in a small, very marshy field c.150m north of the River Lee, in an area of low ground between two steep ridges..... all of these sites are covered with grass and reeds and contain substantial amounts of shattered red sandstone....[this] fulacht fiadh occurs immediately to the east of the above site [KE030-097----] and was initially thought to be part of KE030-097----, but on closer examination proves to be a separate entity. It is a low sub-circular mound 0.50m in height, 11.0m N-S by 6.0m E-W. The trough area measures 3.0m N-S by 2.0m E-W, 0.2m below the level of the top of the fulacht fiadh and opens to the west.'
