This white commemorative plaque records: Free Gardeners' Hall. (1890s). This community hall now transforming into the Beehive has been used earlier by Freemasons, as a cinema, a girls' gym, first aid post and Buckhaven & Methil Brass Band's home. Behind is Buckhaven Bowling Club set up 1891.
Free Gardeners' Hall served multiple community functions from the late 19th century onwards, including as a meeting place for Freemasons and a venue for entertainment and sports, reflecting its significance in local social history.
